Be a part of Affordable Housing Week 2010 by helping to develop next year’s themes and goals as well as plan events! Concord Committee
Major milestones have been reached in our coalition campaign for affordable housing and sustainable development at the Concord Naval Weapons Station including the homeless accommodations agreements. Yet we have much more to go to continue to advocate for affordable housing through the Housing Element and other upcoming processes. East Bay Housing Element Committee
As part of the state mandated Housing Element updates required by jurisdictions, EBHO's East Bay Housing Element Committee is overseeing and coordinating affordable housing advocacy efforts throughout the East Bay and focusing on key targeted areas. Interfaith Communities United for Affordable Housing
Interfaith Communities United for Affordable Housing (ICU) meets regularly throughout the year to develop and implement EBHO’s Interfaith Program action goals and projects, including Housing in the Pulpit and the Annual Interfaith Breakfast. Oakland Committee
EBHO's Oakland Committee meets twice a month to work on affordable housing policy advocacy campaigns and to address critical affordable housing issues that arise including increasing funds for affordable housing development and preservation, tenant protections, zoning and land use, resident organizing and coalition building. Resident Organizing Program
EBHO's new Resident Organizing Program in Oakland seeks to empower affordable housing residents to be affordable housing advocates and leaders alongside members and allies, and engage them in EBHO's campaigns and programs. Supportive Housing Committee
The goals of the joint EBHO/EveryOne Home Supportive Housing Committee are to increase the number of permanent supportive housing units in Alameda County.
