Affordable Housing: Building a Movement
We're gearing up for Affordable Housing Week 2012 and the 2012-2013 edition of the Affordable Housing Guidebook!
Mark your calendar for May 11 – 20, 2012! Our 16th Annual Affordable Housing Week will express the theme “Building a Movement” through member-driven events that highlight the benefits of affordable housing and reach hundreds of people around the East Bay. Join us for the 16th Annual Kick-Off Celebration on May 11 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Uptown Body & Fender in Oakland’s up-and-coming Art Murmur district. Click here to learn more about sponsorship opportunities.
As always, we look to our members for events, resident stories, and building profiles to make our 16th Annual Week the best yet. The nomination process for this year's events and profiles is now closed, but please contact Gloria Bruce at 510-663-3830 for more information on how you can participate.
If you are sponsoring an Affordable Housing Week event, please join us for our 3rd Annual "Planning for Successful Events" Training on Wednesday, March 21. We'll hear from event planning experts on how to make your AHW event - or any special occasion - meaningful and effective. More details coming soon.
Sponsorship opportunities are available! Your organization can gain visibility and advance our efforts to promote affordable housing development and preservation by sponsoring the Kick-Off event or the whole week! Download sponsorship information and forms here, or contact Amie Fishman for details at 510-663-3830 ext. 323.
Feature your organization or company in the 2012-2013 Affordable Housing Guidebook! EBHO's Guidebook serves as an essential resource for advocates, developers, elected officials, government agencies, funders, and people looking for affordable housing. We will produce and distribute 3,500 full-color copies of the Guidebook. We will also upload it to our soon-to-be redesigned website. Download details here or contact Anthony Federico with questions at 510-553-3830 ext. 313.
